It is from the dramatic Murchison Falls, which are formed from a point where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment, plunging into a frothing pool 43m below. On a Wildlife Tour through the Park you may see giraffes, side-striped jackals, several herds of elephants, buffaloes, the beautiful Uganda kob, warthogs, hartebeests, and lions. Apart from game viewing tour, the launch trip to the bottom of the Falls is another memorable adventure giving you the experience of the mighty Biblical Nile.

After breakfast your journey to Murchison falls will start, our driver/guide will pick you up from your lodge/hotel room. The driver will make a stop at the famous Luwero triangle to visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and then proceed to Masindi town for lunch. After lunch we continue with our journey to Murchison falls national park but before crossing the water to the other side we shall visit the top of the falls and then cross the Nile where you will check in as your entering the lodge, refresh yourself and wait for dinner and overnight. We always prefer our clients to get lodges within the park so as to start our game drive very early in the morning because that time gets when animals have not yet set off for hunting and there are many chances of seeing most of them.
After an early breakfast embark on a morning game viewing tour on the northern banks of the Nile. On this wildlife tour expect seeing a number of animals which include Elephants, Buffaloes, handsome Uganda Kobs, Hartebeests, Oribis, Giraffes, Leopards and other game. Return to the Safari Lodge for a hearty lunch before taking a sundowner cruise to the bottom of the falls. A number of aquatic animals can also be seen which include Schools of Hippo, Crocodile, waterbuck and a host of water birds.
After lunch you set off for boat launch trip up the Nile River with the guide, moving slowly along the river bank viewing animals like crocodiles, an abundance of hippos, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, plenty of birds like the fish eagle and stork among others. You will visit top of Murchison falls where the Nile is forced through a narrow gap in the rock. You will view the powerful flow of the falls and the permanent rainbow formed by the water falls. Don’t miss seeing the herds of elephants cooling off, crocodiles enjoying an evening sunshine and hippopotamus frolicking in the water. End of the day, then back to the lodge for refreshment.
After breakfast, depart from Murchison Falls for Kampala, the capital of Uganda. Reaching Kampala late afternoon, our tour guide will drop you at your preferred hotel / Lodge. There will be stopover at Masindi town in court view hotel for Delicious lunch

NB : Wildlife spotting is easiest in the Dry season (December to February), when animals congregate at waterholes and there’s little undergrowth for them to hide in.
